Privacy Policy
QuoteProof is designed for private, on-device invoicing. The app helps you create estimates, invoices, approvals, expenses, payments, statements, reports, imports, exports, backups, and PDF documents without requiring a QuoteProof account.
Information You Add to QuoteProof
You may choose to enter business details, client information, invoice and estimate details, line items, tax settings, payment records, notes, approval records, photos, receipts, logos, attachments, import files, export files, and backup files. This information is used to provide the app's invoice, estimate, expense, reporting, approval, and document features.
Where Your Data Is Stored
QuoteProof stores your app data on your device. If you enable iCloud for QuoteProof, your data may sync through your private iCloud account so it can be available across your iPhone and iPad. iCloud storage and sync are provided by Apple and are governed by your Apple ID and iCloud settings.
No QuoteProof Account
QuoteProof does not require you to create an account with us. We do not operate a customer database for your invoices, estimates, clients, approvals, receipts, or payments.
Data We Do Not Collect
QuoteProof does not collect your invoice data, estimate data, client list, receipt images, approval photos, payment records, business records, or generated PDFs on a QuoteProof server.
Photos, Camera, Files, and Face ID
QuoteProof may ask for permission to use device features such as the camera, photo library, files, or Face ID. These permissions are used only for the app features you choose, such as attaching a receipt, adding a logo, importing or exporting files, scanning a document, or locking access to the app.
Sharing and Exports
When you share a PDF, CSV, JSON backup, receipt, attachment, or other exported file from QuoteProof, you choose where it goes. For example, you may send it by email, messages, AirDrop, cloud storage, or another app installed on your device. Those services are controlled by their own privacy policies and settings.
On-Device Scanning
QuoteProof may use on-device scanning and text recognition to help fill in receipt details such as vendor, date, and total. This processing is intended to happen on your device rather than on a QuoteProof server.
Diagnostics and Analytics
QuoteProof is intended to avoid collecting analytics that identify your business records. Apple may provide developers with crash reports, diagnostics, or App Store information depending on your device settings and Apple's developer tools. These reports are used to understand app reliability and do not include a QuoteProof account because QuoteProof does not require one.
Children's Privacy
QuoteProof is a business productivity app and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
